A higher resolution
of direction
is just one way that True Flight makes
the XRX even more powerful.
We take the 4 quadrant display of
aircraft traffic and increase it to a
higher resolution of eight quadrants.
True Flight also displays traffic in
easy to read color coded arcs with trend
and tracking information, so at a glance
you can quickly see which traffic is a
factor and which is not.
In addition, True Flight takes the
current pressure altitude that your
transponder reports, compares it with
the reported barometric pressure from
the closest airport to you via your XM
data link Weather, and provides you with
even more accurate altitude in cruise
than you get from GPS which typically
varies by larger amounts the higher in
altitude you get. This comes in
particularly useful for True Flight's
altitude deviation alert function
